Hello there.

And a warm welcome. We are Ben and Ella — creatives, entrepreneurs, and husband-and-wife team.

We started the Thoughtful Brand Co. together to help people build small brands thoughtfully — through a practical education membership and through films, stories, and conversations on YouTube.

We have always been drawn to things that feel made with care — spaces we remember, experiences that feel thoughtful, and interactions that stick with us.

When we started our first creative business, we quickly realized the hardest part wasn’t the doing — it was knowing what to focus onwhy it mattered, and how to make decisions that felt true to our work.

That realization changed everything. It moved us from chasing tactics to building something that felt good — and that actually worked.

WHY THIS WORK MATTERS TO US

Most branding advice starts with marketing — how to get seen, how to sell more, how to scale fast. But we found a contrary truth over and over again:

When the experience comes first, selling becomes lighter.
When your audience feels seen, remembered, and understood, loyalty grows, people tell their friends, and your work feels sustainable instead of exhausting.

That’s the approach behind everything we do here — helping people build brands that feel good and last.

Meet Ben

The filmmaker with a big heart and a sharp eye for story.

Ben brings the visual side of The Thoughtful Brand Co. to life through film, capturing the texture, pacing, and emotion that words alone can’t always hold. His work is rooted in observation — noticing the moments that feel honest, human, and worth remembering.

You’ll see his influence most clearly in our videos and visual storytelling, where experience isn’t just talked about, but felt.

Meet Ella

The educator who brings together creativity and business in uncommon ways.

I’m drawn to well-made spaces, small shops with stories, and work that carries quiet intention.

You’ll often find me photographing storefronts, collecting inspiration from places that feel lived-in and real, and thinking about how experience shapes memory — whether in a physical space or a brand.

That perspective shows up in everything I create here.

THE WORK TODAY

The Thoughtful Brand Co. exists to help small-batch makers and creative entrepreneurs build brands that feel clear, grounded, and genuinely their own — for those who care how they build, not just what they build.

THIS IS JUST THE BEGINNING

Our work is about more than teaching brand-building. It’s about helping good people build lasting businesses in a way that feels life-giving.

We’re here to share what we’ve learned — through our filmmaking & courses — so that your business can become part of the story too.
